Installation
Installing Scene Cut takes less than a minute. Here's what you need to get started.
System requirements
Scene Cut runs on any recent Mac:
- macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later
- Apple Silicon processor (M1, M2, M3, M4)
- Approximately 50 MB of disk space
Download and installation
Scene Cut is available as a direct download from pangos.com/scenecut. The 14-day free trial gives you access to all features -- it's the full version, with no limitations.
Installation is the standard macOS process:
- Open the downloaded
.dmgfile - Drag Scene Cut into the Applications folder
- Launch the application -- the welcome screen appears, ready to create a first project
Staying up to date
Scene Cut regularly checks for new versions and offers to install them automatically. Nothing special to do -- the application keeps itself up to date.
To check manually, the Scene Cut > Check for Updates... menu is always available.
License
Scene Cut can be used for free for 14 days. After that, a license is required. It's a one-time purchase at 249 EUR, which includes all future updates -- no subscription.
The license is tied to one machine. Activation takes a few seconds in Preferences > License, using the key received by email after purchase.
