Toolbar and transport

Two horizontal bars frame the workspace: the toolbar at the top and the transport bar at the bottom.

The toolbar

The toolbar groups the most frequently used functions, organized from left to right:

  • Activate cinema mode or detach the video

Work modes

The transport bar

The transport bar controls playback and displays the current timecode.

Playback options

  • Seek on select -- automatically positions the playhead when a subtitle is selected in the list

Timecode

The current timecode is displayed in large format to the right of the transport bar (HH:MM:SS.mmm), so it remains readable at all times while you work.

The status bar

At the very bottom of the window, a thin status bar permanently displays the project's reference information:

Find and replace

The search bar appears below the toolbar and lets you find text across all subtitles.

  • Search with options: match case, whole words, regular expressions
  • Line filtering: search in L1, L2, or both
  • Replacement: individual or global
  • Navigation between results with previous/next buttons

The result counter (for example "3/15") shows your position among the matches found.
